Understanding performance below the surface

At Saltwater, great naval engineering begins with understanding what lies below the surface. As a Marine Engineer, you focus on the technical performance of vessels in demanding maritime conditions. You analyse behaviour, calculate critical parameters and contribute to engineering solutions that must perform reliably in practice. Working closely with engineers and specialists, you play a key role in translating complex technical challenges into clear and accurate analyses.

How you’ll make a difference

You contribute to the technical foundation of maritime engineering projects by performing analyses and supporting engineering decisions. Your work ensures that vessels operate safely, efficiently and predictably under real-world conditions.

You work closely with engineers and project teams, applying specialist software and analytical methods to assess vessel behaviour. Your input directly influences design decisions and project outcomes.

Key tasks:

Performing mooring analyses

Supporting inclination tests and related measurements

Preparing stability booklets and documentation

Analyzing vessel motion behavior using dynamic analysis software

Contributing to engineering decisions based on analytical results
