What sets sail from your sketch?

At Saltwater, great naval engineering begins with understanding what lies below the surface. As a Junior CAD Engineer, you support the development of detailed designs for maritime engineering projects. You work closely with experienced engineers, learn how to translate technical concepts into practical designs, and contribute to solutions that will ultimately perform at sea.

How you’ll make a difference

As a Junior CAD Engineer, you support the design and development of maritime constructions and components. You work alongside experienced engineers and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow in your role.

You contribute to real projects from an early stage, helping to translate technical calculations into clear and accurate drawings. This allows you to develop both your technical skills and your understanding of how engineering projects are realised in practice.

Key tasks:

Supporting the development of CAD models and technical drawings

Detailing ship designs and maritime constructions

Translating engineering input into practical designs

Preparing technical documentation, including drawings and 3D models

Collaborating with engineers and project teams
